HOVA Flight Services Announces Opening of its FBO in Hanover County Municipal Airport (KOFP)
HOVA Flight Services, is a full-service FBO located at the Hanover County Municipal Airport (KOFP), announces the opening of its new FBO facility. The FBO is located in a newly built, modern terminal with a spacious lobby for travelers, conference room facilities, pilot lounge and flight planning facilities.
HOVA is a full-service FBO offering competitive fuel prices, ramp line services (fuel, oxygen, lavatory, GPU, etc.) aircraft maintenance and concierge services for business and general aviation aircraft. The new facility also includes a spacious 15,000 sq. ft. hangar for aircraft storage and is regarded as the best business aviation FBO in the entire Richmond metro area.

Hanover County Airport Terminal Ribbon Cutting
Members of the Virginia Department of Aviation and Hanover County Board of Supervisors held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, April 7, 2022 to celebrate the opening of a new terminal building on the east side of Hanover County Airport.
The new 7,000 square foot terminal includes a spacious lobby for air travelers, conference room facilities, pilot lounge and flight planning facilities. The new terminal building has been primarily funded through federal and state sources including a more than $2 million grant provided by the Virginia Department of Aviation.
“The Hanover County Airport is an important part of the Commonwealth’s aviation system of airports, and it provides critical access to the growing county and the surrounding areas,” Virginia Department of Aviation Director Greg Campbell said. “The airport’s location, along with this new impressive general aviation terminal will serve the community by providing a welcoming gateway and capable facility for general aviation in Hanover and the adjoining jurisdictions. The Virginia Department of Aviation is pleased to have partnered with the county and to have provided support for this new terminal.”
The Hanover County Airport is a General Aviation Reliever Airport for Richmond International. Just over 100 aircraft are based in Hanover County. In addition to serving a variety of smaller aircraft, the Hanover County Municipal Airport is designed for mid-size corporate jets.
